Christmas 3D Birdcage and Tag...

Happy Holidays my blogging friends. Hoping that you are more prepared than I am for the holidays :-) To be honest, all I am looking forward to is some ham, stuffing and eggnog LOL...

Ok, so as promised here are my final part of my one on one Christmas swap with my Yt buddy Ann. I made her a Tag and a 3D birdcage (you probably saw them in my previous posts) as she told me she couldn't get hers to look as neat as mines -_-

This Tag was made from lightweight chipboard and Tm Holtz Vintage Doily on the Edge die. Wild Orchid Crafts Trellis rose and sentiment from My Minds Eye Stamp set. All other embellishments are from my stash and local stores.

The base is a wooden plaque I had and I just built up my creations from there.
The Arch is made from lightweight chipboard, folded inwards at both ends to adhere to the base. Made my 3D Birdcage from Tim Holtz Birdcage die and suspend it with fishing wire, which I decorated by stringing pearls, that is visible at the top of the arch.

Large Snowman and hat is a Sizzix die and embossing folder set.

 Other side view.

Top view... large Prima butterfly and WOC Gardenias, both are absolutely gorgeous!

Close up view.

Thank you all for your visit, I do appreciate you spending your time here :-)
Have a save and lovely Holiday with family and friends. See you soon.

Wedding Table Center piece...

Morning everyone, hoping you had a relaxing weekend and conserved energy to face this week busy Thanksgiving event lol... I myself don't even wanna think of my "to do list" well not yet lol... procrastinating you might say :-0
Ok, just wanted to share with you what I created for a friend's wedding this last Saturday and I must tell you I don't wanna see the color "Navy Blue" again for a very very long time! To be honest I feel like this after every project that requires me to make them in 20s, 50s or a 100!!! She asked me to make her table center piece and decorated her wine glass, plus smaller table pieces for the guest tables. Everyone loved them and most importantly she did, I was happy to know that being it was my first time doing something like this. Oh I might add that I also did the wedding invitations, which I totally forgot to take a picture of so I might have to come back and edit this post when I find mines... so here are some snaps...

Thank you guys so much for visiting and I hope you like them as well :-) Please leave a comment as I'd love to hear what you think. See you soon :-)

Altered Canvas "Friends"

Hi there friends/bloggers :-) I would like to share with you my very first altered canvas... and may I add that it will not be my last... This was so much fun, you can just go on and on plying on stuff or not, it's up to you :-) The canvas measures 8x10inches, I decorated it with colors my friend and I love and I'm so hoping she loves it because I mostly create a kind of clean look, where as she love mostly grunge... ahhh I don't know how to do grunge (but it's on the list of things to learn lol).

For the first layer I used 3 of my favorite satin ribbons pink, beige and chocolate brown (yum) then I added seam binding in between each ribbon to break them up. Ran them diagonal and cut to give a banner effect, layer a strip of designer paper from Colorbok. Embellished with frames, molds, pearls, baubles, chipboard pieces, flowers and stamp images from Prima stamp on transparency.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you like what I have created. Please leave a comment letting me know what you think :-) See you soon.

"Friendship"

Hi friends... I want to share with you a project that I made about a month ago and of course forgot to post here -_- "story of my life" lol... So I participated in a group putting together an album for a friend that was being cyber bullied - get this... by grown women! Unbelievable - are we still in school on the play grounds?!?!?! Seriously??? We wanted to show her we are here for her.

So this is my page, a 6x6 from a chipboard album that you can find at Michael's or JoAnn's etc. I used my favorite Prima line for this season "RONDELLE" yeah baby LOL... humor me -_- I made a crisscross page on both sides and inserted tag in each side of the page. I can't wait for her to get the album and see her face and hear her squeals hehehe...

Thank you all for stopping by and hope you like what I have created as my contribution :-) Please leave a comment let me know what you think.

If you get your hands on any of the paper pads,  consider yourself very very lucky - like one of my subbie said "you would have to give up your first born to get the Romance Novel" LOL... so true lol... Now, if you have a favorite shopping site or local store that carries the Prima line, you should definitely contact them to have them order and get it as Prima will release a second go round for the Romance Novel I think in early November. Believe me if you don't pre-order you are going to miss it again and this time will be final!!! So run, go! Make your order if you love this collection, what's not to love??? Marion did an excellent job on this collection :-)

Baby Boy 1st year mini album

So as you all may or may not know that I'm absolutely uncomfortable making any masculine projects!!! For the obvious reason of "how do you embellish it?!?!?!" So, my sister-n-law begged me to please please make a mini album for her to give a friend that had a baby boy, I was like hummmm ughhhh nooooo lol... and I said ooookkkk -_- So it was a challenge and I actually kinda like it but I hope I don't have to another one soon lol... BTW I still added flowers! I think its' ok because he's a baby right ? :-) what you guys think?

Each page represent a month and has top loading pocket with tags for extra pictures. I only had a couple of the G45 Little Darlings papers and chipboard embellishments and stamp sets, so that help a lot with creating this album.

If you'd like to know more of what I used etc please email me and I'll be more than happy to answer your questions. I'd love to hear what you think of the album and thanks for stopping by :-)

Floral Frames...

Hi everyone, I was experimenting with some wire I had lying around after seeing those lovely wire floral frame my friends on YT were making. They got the inspiration from Prima and they showed how they did theirs so I thought I'd give it a go.

The first one I did is a heart shape, I decided to do mines larger and then add my own twist by placing a smaller heart in the center. Second one, a circular frame I'm sending to a friend who likes Purple :-)

I don't think I'll be putting any picture in mines, it might just be a decor piece in my living room that has white, grays and black theme. So the pinks will be just perfect in there :-) What you think?

Like I said before I made this purple one to send for a friend :-) hope she likes it.

I'd like to know what you guys think about them, so please feel free to leave a comment :-)
Thanks for taking the time to look.
